To upscale successful ecological restoration practices globally, and particularly in Europe, a skilled workforce is needed across all educational levels.
The TEAM#UP MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) target lifelong learners and those wishing to upskill or reskill into the field of ecological restoration, especially those with a background in vocational education and training. These MOOCs are planned to be hosted by the Society for Ecological Restoration on the SER Learn platform, reaching a global audience.
Four MOOCs will be available:
- Ecosystem Restoration in Urban Environments
- Peatland Restoration
- Restoration in Agricultural Ecosystems
- Dryland Restoration
While the content of the MOOCs is free to access and learn, those wishing to receive an SER certificate of successful completion for each MOOC will have this opportunity for a fee.
